NRI MBBS Admissions Haryana

It is further notified that in Private Medical/Dental Institutions affiliated to Pt.B.D.Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, 50% of the seats will be filled under State Quota seats and remaining 50% of seats will be filled under the Management Category. Out of 50% of Management Category seats, 15% seats will be in the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Category.

Admission to NRI Category(NRIs/PIOs/OCIs/Foreign National)

All admission under NRI Category seats shall be as per merit of NEET-2025

The procedure for admission to NRI quota seat shall be as under:-

• Only NEET qualified candidates shall be eligible under NRI category. All admission under NRI category seats shall be as per merit of NEET.
• PIOs/OCIs and Foreign Nationals who are NEET qualified can also apply under the NRI category.

The preference for admission under NRI category shall be considered as under:-

(i)	Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana.
(ii)	Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to Haryana State.
(iii)	Actual NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.
(iv)	Children of NRIs/OCIs/PIOs who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana
(v)	Real brother and sister of the candidate.
(vi)	If the first-degree relation of the student is NRI and residing abroad and the candidate fulfils the following condition:- a) He should be the nearest relation. b) In the definition of nearest relation, candidate having following blood relation:- a) Real Brother and sister of father i.e real uncle and real aunt. b) Real brother and Sister of mother i.e real maternal uncle and maternal aunt. c) Father and mother of father i.e grand father and grandmother. d) Father and mother of mother i.e maternal grandfather and maternal grandmother. e) First degree-paternal and maternal cousins. f) Such person should be NRI c) Such persons should ordinarily be residing abroad. d) Such person should have looked after such student as the guardian of the student and evidence to that effect must have been produced by such person. c) Such persons should ordinarily be residing abroad. d) Such person should have looked after such student as the guardian of the student and evidence to that effect must have been produced by such person.
(vii)	Foreign Nationals shall be considered for admission under NRI quota after exhausting the list of NRIs/ PIOs/OCIs.

List of documents to be submitted by the candidate at the time of document verification:

The candidates at the time of document verification must bring the following original certificates/documents alongwithtwo sets of self attested photocopies.

• 1) Matriculation/High School Certificate (10th) or its equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth.
• 2) 10+2/Intermediate/Senior Secondary School Examination Certificate & Detailed Marks Sheet.
• 3) Character Certificate issued by the school/institute last attended.
• 4) Resident Certificate issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
• 5) Certificate of Bonafide Resident issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
• 6) Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
• 7) Certificate of Disability with respect to Benchmark Disabilities issue by Notified Centres notified by NTA or Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board at PGIMS Rohtak.
• 8) Certificate of Dependent of Freedom Fighters issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
• 9) Certificate of ESM issued by competent authority of the State Government (if applicable).
• 10) Income Certificate (for BC Categorystudents) issued by competent authority as per State Government Notification.
• 11) Income and Asset certificate for EWS Categorycandidates.
• 12) Affidavit to show Minority status.
• 13) Print out of Online Application form.
• 14) Provisional Allotment letter.
• 15) Proof of identification Aadhaar card / PAN Card / Driving license /Passport / Voter ID/Ration Card/any other (any two).
• 16) Four passport size photographs against white background (preferably the photograph used in NEET form).
• 17) Any other Document as required by Counselling Committee.

NRI candidates in addition should bring the following documents:-

• 1. Equivalency Certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, if applicable.
• 2. Conversion Certificate of grading to percentage of marks, if applicable.
• 3. Proof of NRI status in form of passport, OCI/PIO/letter from Ministry of External Affairs/Embassy and Bank Account Details etc.
